Dance Marathon at the University of Michigan is a philanthropic and social organization dedicated to building support and funding for social, emotional, and physical rehabilitation programs for the children and families assisted by C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital and Beaumont Children's in Royal Oak, Michigan.
This year is a celebration of DMUM reaching it's 20th year and we have our sights set on raising the bar higher than ever! Thousands of Dancers, volunteers, crew members, and students on campus come together with the common goal of making a difference in the lives of children. By staying awake and on our feet, we gain insight into the challenges and frustration that the children we support overcome every day.
This year Skyline High School has joined DMUM's K12 Engagement Program and is hosting their Mini-Marathon event, SkyThon, on March 18th. All of the money raised by Skyline students will be added to DMUM's fundraising total and will directly benefit the therapies that we support. We are excited for this partnership with Skyline students, and are inspired by their leadership for spreading the DMUM cause to the greater Ann Arbor community!
