Dance Marathon at the University of Michigan (DMUM) raises funds and awareness for pediatric rehabilitation programs at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital in Ann Arbor and Beaumont Children’s in Royal Oak, MI. DMUM is the largest student-run non-profit organization in Michigan and I love being a part of this organization! The therapy programs we support include tree climbing, swimming, martial arts, dancing, bowling, creative coping, and so much more. These programs empower thousands kids and their families throughout Southeast Michigan, encouraging kids to be kids!
This year, I am so excited to be serving as the Planning Director for DMUM. Throughout the year, my Planning team and I will be planning a variety events including Pumpkin Carving, the gala, Bucketing Weekends, fundraising pushes, VictorThon, and many others! Check out our website (dmum.org) to learn more about our events, or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. We hope to see you around at these awesome opportunities to learn more about our organization and support our cause!
I am hoping to raise $1,500 during my year of fundraising this year. This is a very ambitious goal, but I really hope that I can reach it and raise the most money I have raised FTK! This organization has had such a positive impact on my life, and I love seeing how the therapies we support empower thousands of kids every year. Any donation amount has a real impact… as little as $3 can fund one session of social integration bowling therapy, while $17 can fund one session of martial arts therapy.
Always feel free to contact me or look at our website to learn more about our cause. I hope you will consider supporting DMUM!
