Dance Marathon at the University of Michigan (DMUM) raises funds and awareness for pediatric rehabilitation programs at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital in Ann Arbor and Beaumont Children’s in Royal Oak, MI. Dance Marathon at the University of Michigan is the largest student-run non-profit organization in Michigan and I’m ecstatic to be a part of this organization! The wonderful therapies we sponsor offer children the unique opportunity to participate in activities that allow them to just be kids. The therapies include tree climbing, swimming, martial arts, dancing, bowling, creative coping, and many more.
This year, I am so excited to be serving as the Planning Director for DMUM. Throughout the year, my Planning team and I will be planning a variety events including Pumpkin Carving, the gala, Bucketing Extravaganzas, fundraising pushes, VictorThon, and many others! Check out our website (dmum.org) to learn more about our events, or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. We hope to see you around at these awesome opportunities to learn more about our organization and support our cause!
I am hoping to raise $2,000 during my year of fundraising this year. This is a very ambitious goal, but I really hope that I can reach it and raise the most money I have raised FTK! This organization has had such a positive impact on my life, and I have so enjoyed seeing how the therapies we support empower thousands of kids every year. Any donation amount has an impact on a kid's life... as little as $3 can fund one session of social integration bowling therapy, while $17 can fund one session of martial arts therapy.
Always feel free to contact me or look at our website to learn more about our cause. I hope you will consider supporting DMUM!
