Dance Marathon at the University of Michigan (DMUM) is a student-run non-profit organization dedicated to building support and funding for social, emotional, and physical rehabilitation programs for the children and families assisted by C.S. Mott Children's Hospital and Beaumont Children's in Royal Oak, Michigan.
This year will be my fourth year participating in Dance Marathon. Meeting these kids face-to-face through events like Pumpkin Carving and Volunteer Therapies makes all the difference and these interactions have encouraged me to go from participating as a dancer >> Info Coordinator >> Information Management Co-Chair. We can really see where our funds are going in supporting and encouraging these kids to be kids.
Here's one of my favorite memories from Mott's Summer Enrichment Camp:
Last year, with the help of many friends and supporters, I was able to raise over 1500$ for the kids! This year, I'm setting my fundraising goal at 2000$. Please consider donating to help me reach this amount. Help me make a difference in these children's lives (: And mark your calendars for March of 2018, because the DMUM family would love to have you visit us at the Indoor Track and Field building to see the culmination of all our efforts as we stand together for 24 hours FTK.
