Dance Marathon at the University of Michigan (DMUM) raises funds and awareness for pediatric rehabilitation programs at C.S. Mott Children's Hospital in Ann Arbor and Beaumont Children's in Royal Oak, MI. Dance Marathon at the University of Michigan is the largest student-run non-profit organization in Michigan, and I'm ecstatic to be a part of this organization! The wonderful therapies we sponsor offer children the unique opportunity to participate in activities that allow them to just be kids. The therapies include tree climbing, swimming, martial arts, dancing, bowling, creative coping, and many more.
This will be my third and final year supporting, standing, and fundraising For The Kids! I am especially excited for this year because I have the unique opportunity to serve as the Corporate and Foundation Relations Chair. This means I get to reach out to businesses and tell them how awesome DMUM is! Within this role, I have a fundraising goal of $50k in corporate sponsorships and grant awards.
In March, we will have our capstone event, called VictorThon, in which each member of our DMUM family will stand for 24 hours while celebrating and spending time with the children and families that we support! Should you choose to support me financially, know each donated dollar goes to making the lives of these children and their families just a little bit easier, and their smiles so much brighter.
