Dance Marathon at the University of Michigan (DMUM) raises funds and awareness for pediatric rehabilitation programs at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital in Ann Arbor and Beaumont Children’s in Royal Oak, MI. Dance Marathon at the University of Michigan is the largest student-run non-profit organization in Michigan and I’m ecstatic to be a part of this organization! The wonderful therapies we sponsor offer children the unique opportunity to participate in activities that allow them to just be kids. The therapies include tree climbing, swimming, martial arts, dancing, bowling, creative coping, and many more.
Last year on March 26th I stood for 24 hours to raise money For The Kids and it was one of my highlights of my first year at University of Michigan. Getting to spend tie with all the kids and theirfamilies, playing basketball, having dance offs, and my personal highlight, watching the kids perform in an amazing talent show, was the reason that this year I decided to run for the steering committee and why I will be standing for 24 hours again in March 2018 to raise my goal of $1000!! so please please, any donation helps!
