K-12 Engagement Program

The K-12 Engagement Program through Dance Marathon at the University of Michigan creates opportunities for elementary, middle, and high school students across the state of Michigan to show their support for the Little Victors!

With the help of the K-12 Engagement committee, students of all ages will plan and execute Little VictorThon fundraising events in support of pediatric therapies at University of Michigan Health C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital. The production of these events empowers K-12 students to make an impact on their community, develops their leadership skills, and encourages them to transform passion into action. In addition, students at our partner schools have the opportunitity to participate in peer mentorship events, our brand-new pen pal program, and parents’ night out, as well as other DMUM community engagement events!

Examples of Fundraising Events

Penny wars, fun-run, bike-a-thon, car wash, bake sale, toy drive, sports tournament, overnight lock-in, Minute for Mott (M4M)
