DMUM Student Organization and FSL Partnerships

Why partner with DMUM? Through hosting events (like our biggest fundraising event, VictorThon), gathering donations, and volunteering at pediatric therapies. DMUM members are able to see the lasting impacts of their hard work on our community. Creating a team with your student organization allows your members to work together to meet a fundraising goal, as well as gain volunteering experience and networking opportunities through DMUM events. We aim to make our partnerships mutually beneficial by offering personal growth opportunities and cause connection events. All student organizations are welcome to join! Student Organizations 

Whether your organization is a Pre-Professional fraternity, has a medical focus, has a volunteering focus, or is something completely different, we would love to partner with you! Student Organizations have the opportunity to form a team, in which one member will need to register as the Team Dancer Captain to create the team. Once the team is created, other members will be able to register as dancers and select the Student Organization as their team when doing so.

Performance Groups

Are you interested in performing at an event in which University of Michigan students stand for 24 hours straight for an amazing cause? Dance Marathon raises funds and awareness for pediatric therapies at University of Michigan Health C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital. Our professional tech crew will meet the needs of your group and we will provide you with excellent marketing materials (photos and videos) after the event. We welcome performance groups of all kinds: dance groups, acappella groups, comedy groups, and so much more!

Fraternities and Sororities

Pre-COVID, Fraternities and Sororities had a large involvement with DMUM, hosting fundraising events, choosing DMUM as beneficiaries, creating bonds with our Little Victors, and more! We are currently aiming to rebuild this partnership and increase engagement within this population. Fraternities and Sororities have the opportunity to form a team, in which one member will need to register as the Team Dancer Captain to create the team.
